Rolled Oats are traditionally dehulled oat groats, that have been steamed to denature the enzymes and rolled into flat flakes under heavy rollers. Adds body, mouth feel and head retention to the beer. Used in oatmeal stouts and porters. Adds substantial protein haze to light beers.
