This 2.6kg cylinder is our most popular CO2 cylinder. It’s small enough to take with you camping or to a party, put inside a kegerator or hang in the cylinder bracket included with our Keg Masters but large enough to dispense many kegs. Purchasing your own CO2 cylinder is generally cheaper than renting from a gas supplier for periods longer than 12 months.

Why do we use Double O-rings?
The secret to our superior sealing performance is not just the fact that we use high quality EPDM o-rings but also use two of them. The double o-ring means we literally have twice the sealing surface surface when compared with other push in fittings. This makes our fittings even more reliable and reduces the chance of a leak significantly.

The double o-ring system also means that we can bend the hose with much tighter radius without causing leaking issues. This typically can be an issue with other fittings. This combination of factors makes duotight fittings the most reliable push fit fittings on the market.

Keg King 6 Kilo Gas Cylinders are a great way to put the pressure on your carbonated beverages and not on your pocket book. All our gas bottles are Australian certified and hydro tested to ensure performance for 10 years from the manufacturing date.

As of February 2019, Keg King 6 Kilo Gas Cylinders feature our new improved handle design that makes them easier to orient and/or remove. These new handles screw directly onto the metal threads that are manufactured on the cylinder top.

This 6kg cylinder is ideal if you’re carbonating and/or dispensing large amounts of beer or live far away from a filling station. Purchasing your own CO2 cylinder is generally cheaper than renting from a gas supplier for periods longer than 12 months.

Typically you will use about 6g per litre of CO2 for carbonating and/or 6g per liter to dispense from a kegerator. If you are brewing and carbonating your own beer, without accounting for any wastage you should be able to carbonate and dispense about 500L or over 25 x 19L kegs. If you are purchasing commercial beer which is already carbonated you should be able to dispense about 1000L or 20 x 50L kegs.
These calculations are for use when the kegs are cold like a kegerator. If you are dispening the beer and the keg is at room temperature like with a jockey box you will need a higher dispense pressure and use more gas.

To prevent prematurely emptying your cylinder it is highly recommended to thoroughly check for leaks and preform a pressure check. Check out the video to see how to do this.

Unlike our cheaper sodastream cylinder adaptors that you can find here, this adapter has the added advantage that you can use the side thumb screw to depress the pin in the middle of the adaptor. This pin adjustment makes the sodastream cylinder adaptor significantly easier to use.

Normal sodastream adaptors require an alan key to adjust the pin height and depending on how worn out your seal is you may need to adjust this pin periodically. Also conventional cheaper sodastream adaptors also tend to leak gas every time you connect and disconnect them from your regulator or the adaptor itself. This is also a pain. This new sodastream adaptor design is significant better designed with the handy thumb screw on the side of the unit allowing you to eliminate cumbersome adjustment and it also gives you the ability to turn off and on the gas flow.

This adaptor is used if you have a SodaStream Cylinder and wish to use a conventional Type 30 Regulator with it, perhaps for bbq or picnic and you don’t want to carry your 6kg or 2.6kg Gas Cylinder this is the adaptor that will enable you to make a handy portable system.

Ideal for the low volume user or someone who hasn’t bit the bullet in a big cylinder.

EVAFresh walled tubing is made with an EVA outter wall and also an inner proprietary polymer barrier. The 5mm ID x 8mm OD EVAFresh line provides brewers with the ability to use less line length between the keg and the tap due to its narrower internal diameter. We recommend 1.4 to 1.7 per tap on shorter direct draw systems like kegerators and keezer builds.

EVAFresh contains an inner barrier made from a proprietary polymer that provides excellent oxygen protection while preventing Co2 loss in your beverage. Your beer will stay fresher for longer and not loose carbonation. With EVAFresh tubing you’ll be able to keep the freshness in your beer and beverages, even if the liquid has been sitting in the line between pours.

EVAFresh has an internal surface that is incredibly smooth while remaining almost entirely impermiable to oxygen. This unique quality makes it extremely difficult for bacteria and other microbes establish inside EVAFresh tubing.

The outter barrier is made from EVA material that seals well when used push in fittings and is much easier to attach to barbed disconnects than our previous bevearge line. EVA outter barrier gives the tubing excellent flexibility so the line is far less likely to kink or crack when it is bent or coiled.

EVAFresh 6.3mm ID x 9.5mm OD line is best paired with our glycol/icebank systems or temprite serving systems. For those of you measuring in imperial (freedom units), the inner diameter is 1/4 inch. This size beverage tubing is excellent for long draw keg systems where your bar taps are further away from the kegs so a lower line resistance is required.

This 6.3mm size is not recommended for direct draw kegerators/keezer set ups as it would require up to 8 meters of line per tap. For these types of keg systems, use EVAFresh 4mm or 5mm

These o-rings are a high quality o-ring made from Nitrile N70 compound. The dip tube o-ring is easy to replace and is simply a matter of removing the post first then lifting up the gas and liquid dip tubes to reveal the location of the o-ring.

These O-Rings are the correct replacement for the O-Rings under the posts on your Corny kegs.
