Krush (previously known as HBC 586) is perfectly suited for fruit forward IPA’s and NEIPAS and it works synergistically with the usual suspects of Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy. Krush is a complex fruit salad of flavour, presenting layers of ripe tropical fruits like mango and guava as well as rich stone fruits like peach.

This is supported by aromas of fresh-sliced navel oranges, mixed berries and a slight resinous note.

The intensity of flavour, versatility, and uniqueness are particularly singular to Krush and makes it an excellent addition to any recipe.

Origin: New Zealand. Superdelic is a triploid variety that was crossed by Dr. Ron Beatson in 2012 through NZ Hops’ partnership breeding program with Plant and Food Research. After performing well in the small plot trials and showing sensory attributes of red fruit in early brewing trials NZH-102 was fast tracked by our Grower Committee to the NZ Hops trail hop farm in 2017-18 season. This has been evaluated further through our Bract Brewing Brewhouses across Australia in 2022. Superdelic performs very well in the field with a vigorous growth pattern, shows tolerance to mite damage, excellent machine harvesting properties and has high yield.

Stainless Steel Hop Spider

Perfect for containing hops while brewing beer and prevents hops getting into your chiller or fermenter!

The spider sits over the edge of your kettle, keggle or is ideally suited to use with your Robobrew.

During the boil hops can be poured directly into the spider. The spider is suitable for up to 300grams of hops. The basket is 35cm high with the opening at the top being15cm diameter and tapers down to a 10cm diameter at the bottom. It’s completely made from 304 stainless and the mesh is 0.2mm aperture (80 mesh) so it will capture 99% of the hop material while still allowing the hops to move in the kettle so you get good hop efficiency.
